The new year is now

We’re all in that January mode of looking ahead to the new year, but here’s a news flash: We’re already nearly through the first month. 

It’s time to stop looking ahead. The new year is here: What are we going to do with it?

If you’re anything like me, you can probably be impatient about getting what you want.

So, let’s start the year strong. Let’s work on getting results faster.

When I started my business, I was so happy that I had made €100,000 in my first twelve months. Now I can make that in seven days.

What if I told you that you could turn around your business in 30 days? What if I told you that you could turn around your life in 30 days?

Sound good?

I know that speaking is by far the fastest path to grow your business, and if you follow me on Instagram and Facebook, you’ve heard how I’ve used speaking to grow a multiple six-figure business and the globetrotting lifestyle that I had always dreamed of having.

Now let’s say you focus on getting speaking gigs for the next 30 days, and I mean really focus on it. If you have an opportunity to speak in front of a room of 20 people, you can easily get 10 people on a call with you. How many clients could you get from that call? Say you get three clients. If you have a €5,000 offer, that’s €15,000. If you have a €10,000 offer, that’s €30,000.

And if you speak at an event someone else organised, you didn’t even have to do anything to fill that room. Someone else did that work for you. All you needed to do was get booked for that stage, give your presentation and make your offer.

That’s how speaking works so quickly. That’s how I was able to take my business from €10,000 in debt to €500,000 in sales.

It’s the small things, done well and done consistently, that can get you paid and create success faster.

Speaking falls into every area of your business. Whether you’re posting on socials, doing a webinar, doing a Facebook Live or doing a training with your clients, it’s all speaking.

So why not learn how to use speaking intentionally?

If your business is already doing well, congratulations. Still, why not add speaking as another layer of lead generation?

What enterpreneur would say no to more leads? You can be adding six or multiple six figures to your bottom line.

Let’s make this the year we stretch that new year inspiration out as long as possible and turn inspiration into action.

And when you truly believe in your mission and goals, you’re more confident. You have more faith in what you deliver and you want to get out your message in a big way. You’re enthusiastic in what you write and talk about.

Believing in what you’re doing is the most authentic way to attract more clients. And what I love most is, when you really believe in what you’re doing, you get to be more of yourself and just love what you do.

That attracts more and more people because we like being around enthusiastic and genuine people – it’s contagious.

If you struggle with this, here’s a little hack to help you: Think of all the ways that what you do makes a big difference in your clients’ lives. Ask your clients about it. If you’re too new, ask friends how you’ve made a difference. Hear first-hand why you should believe more in what you’re doing and it will fuel your success. 

Really, it’s a game changer.
