It’s never too late to make the rest of the year the best of your year.
I was thinking of that the other day, now that we’re in the second half of 2021.
As you’ll know if you follow me on social media, that I’m back home in Ireland now and loving it, after spending the first half of the year living and working in beautiful Bali.
I love being able to pick up and move when and where I like – those are the lifestyle choices I’ve made, the lifestyle choices that my business has allowed me to make.
Speaking on stages around the world – even on virtual stages during this past year – has enabled me to do that. And speaking can allow you to do that, too.
I’m looking forward to returning to a real stage in October, when I will speak in Valencia, Spain, on one of the biggest stages of my career. But I have also enjoyed the flexibility and freedom I’ve found, and the amazing clients I’ve taken on, from the broad range of online events I have organised and taken part in during this past year.
I’ve heard so many inspiring stories from the incredible women I’ve met and the clients I’ve worked with on international live and virtual stages, at my exclusive Secret Suppers Worldwide™ series, through the 6 Figure Speaker Collective, in my Chatroom conversations and Facebook Live events.
Just recently I hosted a five-day Facebook challenge, The Fearless Fortune Speaking Challenge – Create breakthrough confidence with your freedom-focused six-figure speaking plan.
Because that’s what it’s all about – that freedom, and our ability to create that freedom through our business. That’s the plan that has enabled me to maintain a multiple six-figure business and a globetrotting lifestyle for the last three years.
And as my wonderful clients can tell you, it’s how they have been able to quadruple their incomes – sometimes seeing as much as 15k from their first gigs.
You can do that, too.
I started where many people start. I wasn’t a confident speaker, in those early days. I was unknown and unsure of myself, and I was not profitable. There was a time in my life when finding international speaking gigs was something I would only see happening to other people. There was a time when I used to hate being the first to speak. But hundreds of stages later, I love it. I love everything about it.
It’s about knowing how to best to present yourself and your business to the audiences you meet, and where to find the right audiences that need to hear your message. It’s about networking and following up with entrepreneurs and businesspeople you will meet along the way. And it’s about practice, practice, practice.
That’s what I love most about my international mentoring and speaking business, being able to guide my clients from around the world to the solutions to problems that have been holding them back from reaching their potential and building the business and lifestyle they have dreamed of having.
During my five-day Facebook challenge, I shared with participants solutions to the challenges that seem to come up most often – maybe they don’t know how to get booked to speak, or where to look for possibilities. Maybe they’re not confident enough yet to see themselves on those stages. I can show you how to go from being unsure and unknown to fearlessly confident and totally bookable. I know how to do it because I’ve done it.
And it’s never too late. If you haven’t had the best experiences up until now, you could absolutely turn things around. I was delighted at the results I was able to create through my Facebook challenge. In that one event, I worked with some really amazing people and met incredible clients.
Sometimes it only takes one thing to work for you to turn everything around. Let me help you find that thing, that event, that approach that will really ramp things up for you and make all the difference to you and your business this year.
I was taking my wee pup, Lily Rose, for a walk in the beautiful Donegal sunshine the other day, following her down a coastal path that she and I knew well. Lily Rose knew exactly where she was going and how she was going to get there. There was no stopping her.
It’s when you don’t know what to expect that you may stall, because you’re not sure you’re going in the right direction.
I’ve found that it can often be like that in business as well. Too often, entrepreneurs will question themselves, or second-guess their decisions. ‘Is this the right way?’ ‘Is this the way I should be doing this?’ And they end up going around in circles, overwhelmed, and frustrated. They don’t move forward.
There’s a better way, as my clients have learned.
I was able to create success for myself by choosing one strategy, one pathway, and sticking to it. In these last years that decision has led me in different directions and while – naturally – there have been challenges along the way, I was able to face and meet those challenges and move forward.
If you’re moving forward, you will either be “learning or earning”. And both of those mean you’re winning.
Are you learning or earning? If not, why not? Let me help you find your path to both.
